To Whom It May Concern:

In November of 1988, our company had three Units installed at our Phoenix location. After these Units were installed. Western Watt, was very prompt in starting our 60 day analysis. During the analysis, the Units would be on for two weeks and then turned off for two weeks until the 60 days for the analysis was completed. When these Units were turned off during the analysis, we were experiencing severe problems with our card-lock machines, computers, and lighting. The card-lock machines were constantly going up and down. Our computers would lock up in certain areas, which in turn would cause us to have to go in and manually and them back on line. We were also experiencing flickering of the lights.

I did not understand at the time why these problems were occurring, until I realized that the Units were in the off mode for the analysis. I should not have turned the units back on but when I did, all our problems with the card-lock machines, computer’s and lighting were totally eliminated. I left the Units on for two days and nothing happened. Everything was operating smoothly. When I turned the units off again, we experienced the same problems. These problems were occurring due to the power surges and spikes.

I am very happy to say that since the analysis was completed and these Units are on permanently, we have had no problems with any of our equipment.

The initial 60-day analysis far exceeded the average kilowatt reduction guaranteed by Western watt. Not only did these units solve our power problems, but it also reduced our kilowatt consumption. Our company is sold on the performance and kilowatt reduction of these Units and would highly recommend it to any other business that would like to solve their power problems and protect their equipment from electrical variances.

Sincerely,

Patrick J. Boehler
D.P. Manager
