Dear Mary:

As we discussed, American hardwoods has been very pleased with the purchase of the Protector system.

We originally purchased our first system from Western Watt in August 1996. Prior to installing the Protector we had a lot of power surges and some moter loss. After installing the Protector, we eliminated the surge & power problems and no longer experienced motor loss or other equipment loss.

I believe that our motors are running much more efficiently now. This system conditions the incoming electric power and provides our building with clean power which allows our motors to run cooler and more efficiently.

We purchased a second system from Western Watt in November 2002 for our Mill operation. Again, before the installing the Protector at our Mill operation, we were having power surge & power related problems which were effecting the operation of our equipment. We installed the second system and eliminated our power problems, motor loss, and saw an improvement in the operating efficiency of our equipment.

As far as energy savings, Western Watt did conduct an energy audit which showed a 15.39% reduction in electrical usage. We did see the energy savings at the time, but have not continued to monitor the electrical savings over the years.

We are pleased with this system and would recommend it to other business owners. If you have other business owners who would like to discuss the benefits we have received from this system, they may call me at (602) 271-4608.
